Hello, my name is Itzel. I am in my second year at IUI, majoring in health sciences as a pre-physician assistant student with a Spanish minor. I am academically and socially involved in school to gain experience in different areas that will help me view and understand different perspectives. The internship I will be working on is Sickle Cell Disease Research with Dr. Amy Williams. This opportunity will enhance my academic and professional growth, I look forward to sharing my experiences and work this year.
